Welcome to the site

1) excellent if you get a good one, terrible if you get a knacker

2) not much - children or one uncomfy adult only

3) poor round town. You can get 30mpg on a motorway run if you're steady

4) plenty about - new ones from Nissan are expensive

cheers for the quick reply i have 2 kids you see that will need to be in there all the time im 6ft5 aswell would that be an issue maybe?

the kids are only little atthe mo and it wont be the evryday car so i cant see the space in the rear being a big problem for a start is there anyone that would take a pic of the back seats so i can see please

I'm 6'5" and i fit in fine, all i'd say is the mpg figure from Craig David is for a non turbo, in a TT expect around about 25 at a push on the motorway on cruise control and about 18-22 around town.

I get about 35 miles to every ten quid in mine round town and day to day but about 50ish on the motorway.

My old na 4 seater used to push 34 to the gallon at a steady 65mph on cruise control.

Mine was an auto too

I take 4 people out in mine (all adults) every week to the pub and although it's a squeeze we still fit alright :)

i'm 6ft and no one could get behind me at all i like to drive the zed streched out. my little one was in the back ok room for kids if your girlfriend or partner isn't too tall. get a good one dont get an ebay knacker there are some good ones on ebay and here. i thought fuel was good for what it is better than my bro's scoobie. the traders on here look after us well and are as cheap as you can get stay clear of nissan they rip you off big time

not to bad then really

what are the common faults on them ? so i can keep an eye out when i am looking for one

Legrath ( ) said he thought the TT could do better MPG on the motorway due to its gearing.

I think you can only get 30mpg if you take it real easy - otherwise yes, it will be mid 20s and less round town / on twisty roads.

i would agree with that thats what mine did

what is the power on the non turbo compared to the turbo versions aswell if possible please

what is the power on the non turbo compared to the turbo versions aswell if possible please

220-230bhp for the NA

280bhp for the TT.

cheers guys any idea on the 0-60 times aswell just as an idea on the power to weight side

and if i was to get an auto how hard would it be to source and fit the manual box?

The NA has more low end grunt from owning both but the TT flies as the revs pick up

NA 0-60 in about 6-7 secs

TT 0-60 in about 5-6 secs

Depends on the ages and condition of the engine

It's past 90 the TT has the edge

nice one i have come from a 300bhp fiesta rst that i built myself so i am looking for something a lot more stylish and that can handle the power and i think the 300zx is it at the mo

welcome matey. auto->manual conversions are more common than you'd think. second-hand complete manual kits go for around £700. you can get the work done for £450-£600. there are a handful of traders on this club that could do the work or supply the bits, including a couple of garages in the midlands.

0-60

(approx)

tt 5.5 secs

na 6.9 secs

People may argue though...

You can get an auto changed to mnual for £1200-£1500 all in - or do it yourself and the parts will cost about £700 (est).

i will be rebuilding the engine when i get one anyways to make sure that its all nice and fresh so it wont make much diference on the condition of the engine

i spent 7.5k on my fiesta to get the 300bhp if i was to spend that much on a 300zx what sort of figures would i be looking at power wise ??

thats is after i bought it sorry

thanks to all that have helped me on this i really apriciate your help

From what people say on here (I'm not a modder), high 300's are pretty easy to attain

personally im not sure i would mod it as such as i think there will be plenty of power there for a start but a few minor tweaks would probably be done

i just wondered what power could be abtained as such

For £7500 I think you could get plenty more than that.

yeah i made a big mistake when i decided i was doing that to a fiesta of all cars but it was fun and an experience probably will not spend that sort of money modding a car again as its not that worth it as it makes the car unreliable and hard to control lol
