No excuse for travelling at that speed (must be 70+mph) in that situation, though I would have nothing against maxing out the car on an unrestricted, quiet German autobahn. Nothing wrong with speed itself – just inappropriate speed.

 

I won't say an idiot like that should be locked up and the key thrown away, but certainly someone that irresponsible should get a lifetime driving ban on the basis that he accepted and blatantly, even deliberately as he was clearly in on the filming, chose to ignore the fact that he was causing a real and very significant threat to the lives of others around him. Could even be construed as attempted manslaughter.

fookin dickhead could easily have killed someone - he flew straight across a busy main road and if it wasnt for that signpost he would have ploughed across the pavement and into a wall - on a busy street. he should never be allowed to drive again in his life.

If you can affored to buy a car like that, i doubt he's worried about the repaire bill or the fine he's gonna get. Mega powerfull cars like that need to be driven properly by experienced drivers with a bit of common sense, in the right place. any car driven like that is a potential fatal guided missile.
