As title.... For the ladies (and anyone else who wants to own up to having a handbag ;) )

 

When driving your Z (or whatever) where do you place your handbag (if you don't have one, then your purse/mobile/fags etc)????

 

I spotted a Lady who had hers on the top of the passenger side of her dash this morning, and thought it was a nice clear invitation to would-be thieves to open the passenger door and be away with it while in traffic!

 

So where do you place yours, and do you lock your doors while driving?

no handbags but i put my phone in the ashtray. and my sunglasses in the centre console under the stereo. the alarm on my car automatically locks the doors when i start the engine as an anti hijack ;)

What if you want to let someone in? And what if you're doing maintenance on the Zed and need the engine running, but are outside?

oh and i dont lock the doors when driving... fook sakes, ive been in worse countries than this.... this is like heaven to me!

 

back home - u had a gat (gun) (if u were a bloke) under ur seat... i had a wheel spanner thing by my seat.. and 7 times out of 10 during the week u had an attempted hijack..... i remember hitting one of the guys when his mate was trying to distract me so they could smash my window..... i just drove - fook that shit! :shock:

I used to put the remote for the radio in there, but it had a habit of falling out when I closed the door ;)

put it in valet for maintance . pull the lever to let someone in lol

Women always seem to put it there - fairly understandable.

 

HOWEVER, if you give someone a lift PLEASE put it somewhere else. Every girl that has given me a lift still puts her bag in the passenger footwell, taking up my leg/foot space :smash:

you should patent that idea bud.

put mine on the passenger seat floor, they can rob it the wallet is always empty all the money has gone into the Zed!!

Mine does the same locks as soon as I start the engine I just thought that was standard for Jap performance cars as all the ones I've driven including my Zed have always done the same thing.

 

Handbag sits in the well behind my drivers seat. The other day I left it in the car over night with the seat moved back as I always do when I get out and you couldn't even tell the handbag was in the car :shock:

 

I've never left my handbag in a car before and I won't be doing it again.
