I have salvaged most of the bits I need from a project car, but I cant take the suspension-wheels off the car or the body will just sit on my garage floor. How do you professionals get round this problem when stripping a shell??

Also - how do you dispose of a shell?

employ 4 chavs to hold each corner up for £5 per month each, then get them to carry it to a dark side road ;)

If you remove shocks/springs car will still be movable and wont actually sit on floor. For extra ground clearance you can put blocks of wood between the upper suspension arms and the inner wing.

Wheels ideally left on till the end, any old scrap wheels that can me made to fit will work.

You can make arrangements for scrap collectors to collect with a hiab.

nobody does anything? I can't believe you leave them in your yards!

just ring your local scrap collecters, they will either tow it away using a dolly if it still rolls or cut the shell in pieces & just through all bits in there van & drive off hth. :nana2:
