I am really suffering zed withdrawal now guys and gals... Paul at SWZ has had my baby (through no fault of his own i might add) for nearly 3 months and what with his engineering company messing him around and staff problems too it has taken the time it has..

 

Let me get this straight, in no way am i blaming SWZ at all ... just want my baby back.. :(

 

Cant wait to get her back mind she has had the crank reground and polished, Race spec bearings fitted, Stage 2 Hybrid turbos, Fast Road gearbox, new oil pump, cambelt, etc etc etc so will definitely be a little more sprightly..

 

John Dixon you out there?? i think maybe the time has come for a the "more aggresive" chip bud ;) need to get the fuelling perfect as poss for now cos cant afford 555's ;)

Am keeping everything crossed that i will be able to pick her up this week before Friday just got to see if Paul can work his magic and make more hours in a day and all of his mechanics grow an extra pair of arms..lol

 

To be honest SWZ have been really helpful with all of this and cant big em up enough, and I am sure the evidence of all their hard work and expertise will show when i drop my right foot..lol

 

Just sick to death of borrowing the work van or me mams diesel pajero... feel like an old fart tootling around everywhere at 40 mph smelling of chips (All our diesel vehicles run on Bio.. !! lol)

the longest ive been without a Z is about 20 days and they were looooonnnggg days :( it must be horrible mate. try and take up a hobby to take your mind off it, like glue-sniffing

pmsl well i already smoke hand rolled cigarettes ;) but even they are starting to wear off.

 

The next person that asks me when my car is back is gonna get a slap..lol

 

The only thing that keeps me sane are Pauls words of "should see 400bhp easy"

don't take this the wrong way, but I don't understand why you're going to all the effort of rebuilding the engine, and bigger turbo's without upgrading the injectors. Seems a false economy to me, especially as you can max out stock inj. with stock turbo's. I'm only asking as this is the second time in a week that I've seen this

gota agree with Jaffa here mate.

 

all the time its been away you shoud be able to save up enough for some 555's

it is called future planning I intend to fit 555's Bigger coolers and Koyo rad then up the boost to produce close to the 500hp the turbos are rated for but budget will not allow at the mo, therefore the stage 2's as the turbos had to be changed anyway (so it wont have to be done later) and equally will produce more low down power and torque than stock tubs ever could.

 

plus to fit 555's wont take 3 months.. ;)

 

and deve with the bill bein what it is already and that is with Paul doin his utmost :bow: to keep extraneous cost to a minimum. i couldn even afford an air freshener..lol

i know where your coming from, my lottie has been off the road for a while now also im biting at the bit to get her back on the road and all the new bits fitted..

 

but it takes time and taking time means getting things right first time so im patient.. for now!!
