What material is the grey/plasticky bit on some front bumpers? I mean the strip that goes inbetween the fogs. Just wondering how you would pep that part up if it had become a bit tatty.

Its on all Stock pre-99 bumpers, although a lot of people bodycolour it.

 

light sand > plastic primer > Spray

All pre-99? Thats weird as I've seen many many more stock bumpers with out that part than with.

I think that part is part of the bumper.

 

You mean is it a bumper remove job to spray it? If so I'd imagine if you wanted to spray it you could do it either off or on.
