Got myself a plenum to polish , got the throttle body,s off and as expected it,s full of oily gunge , any one used any product that would shift it , if not gonna cap the openings and swill it out with petrol !!! :D

Alan, spray it with some carb cleaner, that will shift it matey, put plenty of rags down tho!!! :D :D

I used carb spray as well.Also get's bitumin(tar) off your hands too as i found today. :D

If you want it really super clean put it in a high pressure parts washer, then after it comes out spray some brake dust cleaner on the openings, wait ten minutes then use a high pressure spray and every spec of dirt should be off by that point.

And when you put it back together do away with the pcv valves and do a oil catch tank upgrade to stop all the oil/crap going back into the plenum and throttle bodies again.

I had mine sand blasted, & chemically dipped. Came up a treat :)
