A brick

chesse wire? must be rare - I've never heard of it.

cheese wire will be easier to get hold of, and probably cheaper than chesse wire.

pmsl!

Youve lost me there ,chesse wire is used by windscreen firms to cut bonded glass out. Sometimes they use a cutting out tool as well.

i have always managed to push the glass out with my boots, but be VERY carefull and wear goggles

and a snorkel as best done under water

Nad,

AFAIK the rear quarter glass is mounted onto the chassis by means of a few bolts and a lot of adhesive. The rubber trim that runs along the bottom of the outside is bonded onto the glass and will come off with it. No special tools required, just a lot of patience.
