cheers

I did mine without changing the gasket......no leaks.

I got a pump from DemonTweeks for sucking the fluid out of the gear box through the filler pipe....If you drop the pan you you get deluged in oil....Plus you need to do a couple of changes to get any where near clean oil as you cnat get at the oil in the torque convertor....which has half the oil in it!

sounds like a good idea, was thikin of something like that myself, was going to try and drain it from the oil cooler i put in,will look in the local factor shop 4 a pump, many thanks and keep up all these blinding ideas :)

Only prob with the suction method is that the filter don't get cleaned/replaced

and any sludge in the sump will stay there!-up to you dude! :)

Sorry - meant to add that after you have siphoned out the oil - you can then safely remove the sump to clean the filter.....Thats what I did with mine anyway.
