why does everyone hark on about evos skylines and subarus???

i have only had my zed for a couple of months and am having a lot of fun in it

skylines cost a fortune and the stock evos and scoobies arent that quick

why does everyone buy em and boast about them ??????????

maybe it might be worth your while to have a go in some of these cars and see if your opinion changes...

 

i've been in all of them in various guises, and they are all good cars, it does of course depend on the mods the cars have, coz a 600+ skyline feels like nothing i have experienced before..

 

i've been in a 400+ evo which again was quick, and also handled very well, it was an evo 9...

 

scoobies are my least favourite of the ones u mentioned, but again get in a 300+ scoobie and u'll know you've been for a ride...

 

each to their own really here malkie, if you get a chance havea try in em all and see what u think...

 

i've owned a 400+ skyline, and when i wrote it off i plumped for a 300... no regrets from me altho i do sometimes miss the skyline..

i prefer the scooby to the evo, but prefere the skyline to both then again i prefere the zed to all 3 :confused:

like they said , try em all mate and then make ur decision . The cars u mentioned all drive and handle so differently. Plus it depends what u want the car for. if u want a rally / track car or road animal that can be chucked all over the place and not loose grip whatever the weather then and evo or scooby , If u want a pure road eating beast with status then a skyline , But the zed is a different kettle of fish really dosent handle or drive like any of them.so cant really compare any of them to each other.

i prefer the evo to the scooby - evos are less common and are more aggressive-looking, although i wouldnt touch anything higher than a 6 with a barge-pole. Skylines are the pimp daddys. The Z showed them all how to do it :D

subapoos im afraid are the sports car of the average joe sorry thats just my opinion and yup im a snob, they have no redeeming features and the build quality is horrendous and they just scream "look at me (IM A TIT)". evos are well still ugly but slightly more upmarket and skylines are the japanese daddy of the roads.

 

Zs are well Zeds, for tremendously good money you get good performance, stunning looks and road prescence i think there is only the skyline that combines those three!

it all depends what presses your button i stll prefer the 300zx drop dead looks still looks amazing today with the right clothes. on power will always be another story depending how big your wallet or purse is :cool:

I confess when i go for my weekly KFC at lunchtime i sit so i can see my zed.

Ive owned a Skyline,Zed and now Supra.

 

probably say build quality/reliability on the Supra is best,Power the Zed (when its running right) and overall the Skyline for power,looks,reliabilty and 'reputation'

I wanted a skyline before got the z. Wanted an R33 not R32 tho as I think the R32 looks too dated now in standard form. Couldnt afford a R33 gtr so had a couple of test drives in standardish gts-t's. Wasnt that impressed with the power.

 

So got a Z instead!

 

I love the way people dont know what it is, personally i think skyline drivers are a bunch of yobs!

Ive had them all and love me Skyline the best for overall package!!

im my opinion.... (if £ was no object and i had to choose between them only)

 

1) Skyline - agreed king of the road :bow: - very sexy car

2) Zed - nice, quick, good looking, but shit mechanically :cry:

3) Evo - breeding like rabbits - far too many around now

4) subaru - FAR too common :hurl:

5) Supra - what a lump of poo - enough said :hurl:

my mate has a r32 skyline with about 450ish bhp cost him 7+ grand i know this is what they go for but his car looks old where as the zed doesnt date so harshly

scoobies everyone has got

evos are ok and a r33 or 34 skyline running a lot of pwer would be cool but damn expensive

My Z cost me under 4 grand and there aint that much on the road that will touch it for looks or power.

 

A skyline or Supra will cost you at least twice as much and in my opinion don't look any where near as good.

 

You will occasionaly get beaten off the lights but it is usually by a car that has cost 10 times the amount has traction control and a twat who don't care who kills behind the wheel.
