Any of you guys got a tried and tested method of cleaning the connectors to make sure they are gettring the proper contact??

i did a write up in the FAQ might help :)

Alloy wheel cleaner is good for cleaning up contacts, but make sure you flush it out afterwards with ordinary contact cleaner, which actually dont remove much of the corrosion.

Once clean it can be an idea to apply some electrical silicon grease - stops water ingress and protects against corrosion :)

I used wheel acid which valeters use to remove brake dust , cleans it very well but needs a good rinsing afterwards :dance:

What about Baby Oil??? or even better Baby oil gel?? :D

Anyone know if Greg`s post about cleaning contacts still exists ? I have done a Search BTW . Several , in fact :p
