Actually managed to fix my wing mirror. The rotating mechanism had rotted and split in half (see pictures in my rides) which left the mirror waggling around and attached by only one screw.

 

Anyways managed to get another wing mirror from supercarparts but it had a dodgy case. Anyway I'm well chuffed that I managed to get the old mirror off, remove the casing, replace the casing on the delivered wing mirror and shove it back on the car. I know its an easy job for most people but I'm crap and I actually got it done. All before it started tipping it down too! Damn that thunders loud now.
