there are actually 3 new GT games to be released on the PS3:

 

GTHD Classic - using old GT4 graphics engine, but in HD. plus Ferraris. plus bikes. plus 2 new tracks. plus online. plus up to 16/20 cars on track at a time. supposedly to be released at budget price. released 2007.

 

GTHD Premium - using fancy new GT5 graphics engine but is only a 'demo' of GT5 - much like GT4 Prologue was to GT4. only a handful of cars and 2 tracks (the same 2 new tracks as in Classic i'd guess). no online play. rumours of full interiors tho, or at least dashboards. i think you can 'buy' cars online though as they are developed by Polyphony Digital. released end 2007/early 2008.

 

GT5 - released in 2009 or thereabouts!!! the dogs danglers. everything. cant chuffin wait!

i heard that sony were thinking of releasing GT5 with no cars or tracks and you had to pay for each car and track and then you download them. it worked out you would pay over £200 to get every car and track WTF

I'm sticking with xbox 360 and PG4 which'll be out soon and they will most definately kick ass :D

i think thats a crap idea anyway and so apparently do most people on the forums. the point of the whole GT series is to allow you to enjoy a vast range of cars, some youd never seen or heard of. some people on the forum agree with buying GTHD Premium and just buying a few favourite cars [the fastest ones], but what's the point in that when you can take your pick of hundreds???!? :headvswal all they'll do is buy the fastest one and use it to beat people on-line, then moan that theyve paid £30/£40 for a game that has no longevity.

Yep, although it's prettier than forza 2, the gameplay in forza 2 is going ot be miles better

yeah forza is a good game, but driving games dont do it for me that much. i like to shoot things ALOT :hyper:
