id mix it 50/50 mate

take the expansion bottle out tho and clean it out or the water will go sludge colour again pretty quick

I dont want to throw a spanner in the works or owt, but, i read it was supposed to be 90% anti freeze (not the blue stuff, the illuminous red/green stuff,) and 10% water.

 

thats what i just filled mine with anyway.

it aint had any in for a year so cant be that bad

50 50 is the commonly used mix and de-ionised water not tap water.

unless you have removed the waterpump and thermostat then you will still have up to 5litrs still in the engine of old coolant. with waterpump and thermostat removed you would need to top up with approx 10litres

 

if you have just removed the rad then 5litres will be all you need. and yes 50/50 mix is perfect, the amount of engines iv seen with no coolant is shocking, can only imagine what an engine looks like internally with pics like this :smash:
