I do believe that the last of the truly gorgeous Ferraris was the F355. None of the new, although more impressive metal comes close to looking anywhere near as nice.

This can't be more apparent than in the shape of the new 599. Personally, I think it looks like regurgitated ass.

Not sure if anyone's seen photos of it yet. The mechanicals are great with a top speed of 205mph and it uses the Enzo's engine coupled to a 6 speed F1 transmission.

Anyway, here it is. Ugly as sin isn't it. Mind you, sighting it next to the glorious F40 probably does it no favours what so ever.

Looks like something Jaguar or Aston Martin would design, not Ferrari. :(

p.s. is that a chav in the background? lol

i totally agree, it looks like an Aston Martin. nothing wrong with A.M.'s mind you. but Ferraris were always so unique in styling. even the other Italian breeds were different enough to differentiate a Ferrari. poor show, and i think that guy on the right of the picture agrees with me

Quite agree the last Ferrari I really liked is the 355 :)

That's a really nice pic of the F40, really does look awesome and so much sportier than that other pile of cack!

Even Lambo's aren't looking quite as flash as they did, although I love the Murcielago.

If I had the money I'd have to go for a Pagani Zonda though :D

Personally I think Lamborghinis look better than they've ever been. The Gallardo is their best yet and more importantly, doesn't come with stupid doors.

Gallardo is also one of my all time favourite looking cars.

the F430 is a wicked car, much nicer than the f355 imo :)

i think the countach was the best looking 80s lambo, may not have been a great car but looks awsome.

If I could have any Ferrari it would be an F40

as far as new super cars go it would have to be the zonda or maybe one of those swedish things

F40 is the best Ferrari IMO

but you cant beat the Gallardo for price and speed out of the crop of new supercars.

supercars used to cost 3 times as much as the average house, now they are almost a 3rd the price of the average house, so today they must be a bargain

that new ferrari does look cac

I have seen this car in the flesh at Geneva Motor Show, and I really think its a nice bit of kit. I see what your saying about looks, but I think it looks fantastic.

Zonda = :hurl:

A pretty ugly car if you ask me. The back end being the worst. From some angles it's quite nice and has a nice stance, but it's not attractive.

Even has 'First Bus' rear lights.

Don't like any of them realy, pasta rockets have never floated my boat, maybe cos I don't like red cars who knows.

I like the look of Saleen and the new English car that I don't remember the name of, no my heads gone.

Noble M15?

the 599 looks a bit awkward in most colours but there was a black one at Goodwood that looked very menacing :)

I agree that the 355 is gorgeous. I also really like the 308 GTO (below) - how many others here had the Athena poster on their walls as a kid? I have to say that I think the 599 is very classy and understated and the pic above doesn't do it justice. For modern supercars though, I think the Maserati Birdcage takes some beating.

The Countach was an impressive car to look at in the same way an Evo 6 or an Escort Cossie is but I can't say it was good looking. You could never say it was a pretty car could you? LOL

As for the Ferrari.....I like it, still the badge with the ultimate status IMHO.

;)

didnt say it was pretty - just Awsome!

didnt they use a Koenigsegg in bruce almightly?

What's with all these gay new Ferrari colours?

They should stick to red, yellow and black! :D

!!!ANORAK ALERT!!!

Sorry but thats a 288GTO in that pic! :nono: :D

Good call!

I like it but I'd never had believed it was a Ferrari lol
