hi all on the way back from the jap show at santa pod today i noticed (after i turned the stereo down) that at around 70ish mph i get an electrical bong noise coming from behind the dash similar to a lights on alarm, i have only owned this car a few days and i havent noticed this before and i just wanted to know if this was normal and can i turn it off.

Hiya matey, that's a standard jap feature HOWEVER you can adjust it, if you take the cap off the speedo and remove the speedo itself you can adjust where it bongs by using one of the pots on top of the speedo itself.

If you do a search on speedo calibration you should find the pics and where to drill the holes so you can adjust it with the speedo back in

That just means you are over the speed limit. :nono: Its only a warning noise. ;) You can have it removed me thinks.

It is the 110kmh warning that comes with the jap import.

This link shows how to disarm it.
