Hi, I'd like to fit a different cd player so the centre console has to be removed. Anybody got any hints/tips that may help and make this process painless but successful. Any info would be greatly appriciated. Cheers.

The top RED ones are two caps over screws.

The bottom RED ones are a long bar across two screws. Gently, with a flat blade screwdriver, poke in from the bottom edge and push up towards the outter edge of each side, you are looking for two metal sprung clips to release the strip. Then remove the strip, then you have access to the two screws. Now pull the fascia off (watch out for the clock wiring)

Just ignore the BLUE bit, it's for removing the over part, which you won't need for the radio.

That's an old pic (posted this before, but couldn't be bothered to find the old post ;) ) even shows my old phone (two phones ago, so at least v early 2005) and the old black vinyl trim (now red leather) so nooooooooooooo chance of the Navan ;)
