Why is it when you park your car in what you think is a safe, out of the way empty spot, miles from anyone.

You return to your car and find some Idiot has parked inches from your car not leaving enough space ( not even for Kate Moss ) to get in.. :slap:

WHY DO THESE PEOPLE DO IT ?

I know car parks are crammed together for £££.. But FFs have some consideration .....

Whats the solution ?

Is it a crime to let their tyres down and inconvience them ?

Or am i just getting grumpy in my old age....

Its so true. I sometimes take my zed to work, and if I do I park it as far away as possible, tucked up right in the corner. When I return there is always a car parked next to it, even tho there is another 10 spaces in the close proximity. Why?

Thing is though, the people who tend to park the furthest away but right next to you probably do it cos they are crap at parking and noone can see their cock ups if they do it in a little corner of the car park somewhere!! (and thats not from experience btw LOL)

I parked up in a huge supermarket car park that was 80% empty.

My wide arch Z is just so tight in a single spot so parked it across 2 spaces so nobody bashed my door.

There were hundreds of spaces and no cars for about 10 spaces either side.

I came back to find a 4x4 parked across the white lines next to my drivers door so close he was almost touching my wing mirror and rear arch!

There were no other cars to either side of us and I couldn't get in, I went mental.

Would have had to get in the passenger side and climb over.

I folded his mirrors in and let down a tyre I was so pissed off.

I then saw a dozy old git coming back to his 4x4 and he walked straight past me as I stood there fuming, got in and started to pull away so I shouted at him telling him what an ignorant tw@t he was and asked why out of the whole car park he'd parked and inch from my car.

He just said "sorry I didn't notice" :slap: :xxx:

I said there's something else you haven't noticed too as he drove off with his flat tyre and folded mirrors

I had an arguement with a punter about him abusing one of my staff, ended up throwing him out the guy had been in the pub all day and was well pi**ed up, he then went round to the car park and went to get in his car, i told him if he put the keys in the ignition i would phone the police as no doubt it would be some elseslife he ruined and not his, he walked away asking if i as going to stand there all nite, cos he would be back, isaid no i wouldnt stand there all nite and proply let down all his tyres! nearly got into big trouble with the reagonal anager over that, criminal damage!!! d'oh

But i feel i was justified, what if had of knocked down and killed someone?

Not his life that ruined, but the family of the person he killed walking down the road!

Its surprising how often this happens. Many a time I venture back to my car and find some fool has parked so close that we are trying to exchange paintwork. Not so easy to clamber through from the passenger side when your 6ft6!! neadless to say some form of note is left :xxx:

i used to get this a lot (im sure some of its jealousy - its usually a 4x4 or a poo car) so now i've taken to parking in the end spaces of the car park (across 2 if they're small spaces) with the drivers door by the wall/hedge.etc. that means no one can park in the 3ft gap i leave so i can always get it.

i think some people just dont realise how far a Z's door has to open to let you in. someone in a 5-door hatch (usually wafer thin doors) can get out with a foot next to their car. the Z needs at least 2ft for you to stand a chance.

mayb they should have staggered size spaces to help bigger cars out and not waste space on microcars?

and darkside, i totally agree with that. cant stand people like that. if they drive to the pub with no other way home i think that should be grounds enough for the police to do them. isnt there a law against attempting to drink drive? you could probably argue that it wasnt criminal damage as you were doing it to stop a dangerous crime happening? afaik that clears you?

si.

I have to admit that I'll park with the white lines equidistant from the sides of my car. So if someone else has parked crapply on one side thus leaving themselves no room I really don't care. They should learn to park properly.
