...a 1955 MG Magnette ZA. 1.5 litre straight 4. used to belong to my grandpa but will shortly be up for sale. hadn't moved for about a year, but a simple battery swap (and a bit of choke) and she started up after about 30 turns.

steering's pretty darn heavy, but only seemed to be about two turns from lock to lock! once she got going she drove like a beaut! she'd been all around Ireland back in her day. it'll be a shame to see her go. hopefully an enthusiast will take good care of her. thinking about it, it would have been good to take her to Ashby Folville to sit with other vintage cars but its too late now.

Wouldn't call it gorgeous, but feck me, it's rare alright! Nice one, bet that's worth something. Looks like a large version of the 1100...which you're probably going to tell me that that's exactly what it is!

Id like to drag modern designers by the ear and point out how interiors should look.

I owned a Rover P5B when I was 18, the car was just pure class.

See you've tried to polish the driver's wing. From looking at it, the doors don't look all distorted with rot/filler.

That interior is cool.

nah it looks like polish but my uncle (who passed away a couple of months ago and hence why we've now got the car) had a go at restoring it. i think that's what colour it's supposed to be (before 50 years of sunlight ruin it!)

put a big fook off 8ltr cadillac engine with a blower sticking out the bonnet in it, tub the rear end pair of wheelie bars out the back got your self a 1 off sub 10 sec 1/4 mile dragster :x:
