Im aware that if you drive a manual you shouldnt do too many 0-60's or 1.4miles unless your clutch is up to the job. Im just wondering if the same can be said for a torque converter in an auto box? Friction shouldnt be the same issue? I know the fluid etc will heat up and you will be straining the diff tyres etc but can the auto box take more 0-60 runs?

dunno, but i'm sure revving an auto with your foot on the break just before launching doesnt help the autobox much.
