left home at 6.30 am to go to Birmingham to the Jaguar Factory - and what can i say.... it was absoloutly fantastic. We saw the new XJ's being made / built whatever u want to call it..... some were special order from Bahrain, some for USA - totally amazing...

 

if i remember correctly, one of them cost around 60,000 - 80,000 and apparently there is an 18 month waiting list. They are made to order!

 

oh and i spotted a celeb - brilliant day - cant wait for the next one i've got to do... I've done ford, Jaguar... i wonder whats next 4 me..... :dance:

I've been there, good isn't it. Don't you just love the way the chassis and bodies all go round on conveyors and millimetrically meet up. It's like clockwork and lovely to watch.

really awesom.... alluiminum bodies and all..... well chuffed i went along!

 

as for some of the blokes building em... hmmmmmmmm :x:

i worked in fords research centre for a couple of years. its amazing some of the projects in there with jaguar, aston, volvo etc. my garden still backs on to the test track so i reguarly get to see them testing ferrari and lambo etc going round. it was a very fascinating job i must say.

noo.... some of them were yummy ... didnt know whether too look at the robot doing its thing.. or the bloke lifting the heavy stuff.... hmmm yum yum yum !!

 

if work keep sending me to these things.... i'll be with them for a while! good fun..
