my na's brakes are pants an warped i was wondering whats the difference between turbo an na brakes coz i might upgrade to them. an whats the best disc to go for i want somthing grooved an drilled but who makes the best?

 

also im gonna get me cars tracking checked an no doubt it will need adjustin can they do that with out jackin the car up ie: puttin it up on a ramp or over a pit? becuse i fitted a scarab bumper from z center which is a different shape on one side an badly fouls the wheel when jacked up if it aint on a lock :rant: :rant: :rant:

Check your tie rod ends as well. If they are shot then you'll think that your brakes are judderring co warped disks. You then replace the disks and you still have the jubber.

 

NA brakes are fine if you fit soft pads try EBC green stuff. I do believe that after 91 the NA brakes were replaced by TT brakes ie 30mm wide disks and steel calipers.

 

Warp disks tend to come from Auto cars so if you buy 2nd hand NA disks, make sure the donor car was a manual.

Tom, if you want to get your tracking / steering checked, go to Protyre at Lawrence Hill, they check and adjust both front and back. They did mine and the car feels so stable. John
