Im with Npower.

Was paying about £30 for each a month on that estimated thingy.

Just had my final for the year on electricity and I have to pay another £64 and my monthly has gone up to £45.50.

They put my gas up to about £45 in July this summer.

So now im paying £90 a month for a 2 bed house and seems a little high to me?

What you all paying???

I havnt had heating on for months, obviously lol, and dont intend too at all. Jumpers etc... till I die of cold.

Cant turn any more elctrical stuff off, dont have lights on when watching tv.

Doh, I hate houses!

£90 sounds about right hun i work for powergen in sales its what id expect to hear tbh very soon prices are coming down just got to get shut of the stuff they bought in before prices went down then we should see a decrease im led to beleive

you will have owed a little but npower prices are going up thats why they put you direct debit up hun

Perhaps its time for a change.

Whats the cheapest company out there, or are they all really the same?

youll find cheaper but as soon as you move the prices go up. really Atlantic are the cheapest out of the lot and have reamined so for couple of years hun but all the major competitors no point changing from one to another.

well im on pay as you go, it makes you more awqare of prices (when it gets cold you put on a jumper), i spend about £30 gas and about the same electric (with british gas)

pay as you go is dearest way might aswell just be on a normal meter and be thrifty

i know its more expensive. it just makes you more aware so is cheaper than me

also you cant use what vyou aint got :D

candles all round then

They estimated (brit gas) 25 and 30 for me (me, gf and kaisa the cat in a 3 bed house) and I said I'd do 30 and 35 to be safe. And looking at the bills I'm about 300 down so I should be paying well more than 30/35 more like 60/65

yeah i was paying about 35 a month for elec and 15 for gas

npower took £87 this month! eh?

i had the same when i moved in here its only a 1 bed house got told it will be about £25 a month then 9 months later got a letter saying i havnt paid enough and they are going to put it up to £40 a month and take £65 a month to pay off the dept. Why do they leave it so long all the houses are the same around here so they must know how much electric im gonna be using.

As for the gas i've been a bit clever there i've been saving gas by farting in a money box

lol, my money boxes all leak so that wouldn't work for me.

I currently pay British Gas just over £50 per month to cover both gas and electricity for 2 of us in a 3 bedroom semi.

It just about covers the annual charges - heavily in credit for the summer but by the end of winter I'm still just in credit.

Make your Mrs wear a jumper mate!

Richard

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:
