I have DVD decrypter, but they have been closed down, does anyone else have a good dvd copying site, that can bypass the copy protection on dvd's so they can be burnt,

its just that i want to copy some holiday dvd's that are copy protected, if you know what i mean.

I don't know anything about this (*cough*) but if you can find a copy of "dvdxcopy platinum" through a torrent search engine i remember it rips, compresses and burns a copy in just 30 mins from start to end.

 

It was so good they stopped selling it after they were sued.

 

I used it to backup some scratched dvds and it works a treat.

 

DVD Shrink also rips and compresses before burning and it's free

First you have to get them away from who ever is protecting them,

 

This could be tricky, maybe a distraction or something, that might work :p

lol, p.s. little trick if they refuse to copy. open your dvd playing program, click play then pause, then run the proggy again and the dvd player prog unlocks the copy protection although i didn't tell you that :D

Agreed, dvd shrink is a top little program. Can reauthor and it doesnt add any stupid messages to the front of the copied dvd.

dvdxcopy great program but i think you need a old version as it was updated after the were sued

It's those RED DVD's that are a bitch to copy, the ONLY prog I found that would work was called DVDFab Decrypter and it does REALLY work, not let me down once yet.

A lot of progs will work, but NOT on the RED discs!!! FACT!!!! My reasoning..... I've been recommended ALL of the above progs, tried them and they all fail on the RED discs, except for this one! :D

from what I remember - the red discs are Sony copy protected.
