Phew!!

I climbed into my z this evening after having a hard day getting roasted by my area manager for spending more time polishing my car than i do working, ready to go home, turn the key to hear a loud click ignition lights go off and the engine doesnt turn. Oh shit here comes a bloody big repair bill i thought. So in true unqualified self appointed AA man style i pop the bonnet and peer in giving random wires a waggle and scratching my head. Then i discover the possitive battery terminal a little loose give it a waggle ignition lights back on!! When i got home i tightened it properly with a spanner and take it for a spin, it now boosts better, changes (auto) smoother and goes faster, i felt before that it was loosing performance but i just figured i was getting used to the car. So the moral of this story is if you think your cars running a bit poo check the ridiculously obvious first

Hi b19rks why not try a bigger battery.

Hey mate funny that mine did exactley the same at the weekend, so i tightened the battery cables all ok! Has done it once since when i had been out on long journey on a hot day can only put it down to the shitty battery clamps expanding with the extra heat under the bonnet now the sun has come out!!! So time for some nice new heavy duty ones me thinks
