The wife just sent this to me from work so I think you lot need to know.

The Trading Standards Office are making people aware of the following scam:

A card is posted through your door from a company called PDS (Parcel Delivery Service) suggesting that they were unable to deliver a parcel and that you need to contact them on 0906 6611911 (a premium rate number). DO NOT call this number, as this is a mail scam originating from Belize. If you call the number you start to hear a recorded message. You will already have been billed £15 for the phonecall. If you do receive a card with these details, then please contact Royal Mail Fraud on 02072396655 or ICSTIS (the premium rate service regulator) at http://www.icstis.org.uk or your local trading standards office. This is a genuine scam and is under investigation by ICSTIS.

Keep to the left, Scrawni.

Ignor it, another false warning of somethnig that does not exist.

Oh right, she gets lots of these from the boss at work. They are a country wide company with lots of vehicles on the road so they like to keep peeps informed of the latest scams and concurns.

I got one one day telling me not to flash my lights at cars that don't have them on, it seems that gangs are playing a game that the first person to flash them gets shot at, now a few years ago I would have laughed at the idea but now I'm not so sure.
