So I've got Jap TT manuall 1991, fixed almost all the issues & am thinking about what mods to start with. I'm thinking exhaust & induction but have heard I can get serious gains from a chip instead. Just wondered hat ou guys thught / done 1st??

uprate the brakes.

If you just want more power I'd imagine upping the boost would be the way forward on a bhp per £ basis.

 

I'd be keen to make sure the brakes, suspension and bushes were tip-top first though.

You get the greatest (and cheapest) increase from raising the bost, but in order to be safe you should get the chip done as well.

Cool, I've had the bushes done already so I know they're sound. I heard the rumour about the brakes as well so they're definately high on the list. where can i get info on chips?
