Connecting horn on aftermarket steering wheel

Hi,

I've got a HICAS boss now, fits fine, only problem is I can't put the copper contact disc back on (the one that is fitted as standard). Therefore, I've only got one connection out of two from the back of the horn, the one that connects via a plug (which sits at 12 o'clock) into the HICAS unit.

Any ideas how I can connect this other point up, I assume that it would be the earth to complete the circuit?

I've checked out loads of threads but no-one else seems to have had this problem, perhaps I should take a drill and/or blade to the copper contact disc and make it fit behind the new steering wheel?

Thanks in advance.

John
