I used it to get in contact with drum n bass DJs / clubs when I went over to San Diego. Find it an excellent tool. Ment I hung out with some really cool people when I was over in Socal. :)

It's a personal profile website. Very very supprised you've not heard of it. It's about as well known as chavs are.

Similar, but myspace is used by quite a few promoters and bands. It's a good very very good networking/promo tool as it's globally popular. You can upload mixes and stuff.

 

I'm sure some use it like faceparty though.

Sort of but you can create and customise bigger and better profiles and build up a network of friends that are into the same kind of interests you are... It's great!!! ;)

I think myspace is cool, although I've really only just started using it. Only just registered so my profile is almost empty. My only beef with the site is that it's slower than continental drift. Get lots of timeouts and crap like that. They need to take a leaf from google's books methinks and just buy a shedload of commodity hardware to run the site, and if that's what they're already doing then they need to buy an awful lot more of it.
