driving without due care and attention

i thought you said you crashed because your accelerator got stuck

or was that just a load of shite

oh and possibly six points and a fine, unless they deem it dangerous then its a ban and a fine

they also sent in this from for me to fill which asks me to put in my outgoing and incommings.

also they said i was driving without a driving license road tax and insurance lol

Points and a fine, 3 or more points and the fine will be means tested so that can vary.

If you plead Not Guilty because you say your accelerator stuck and they prove that didn't happen you will get a bigger fine and more points.

I think it's 3-6 points plus a possible fine.

Dress smartly but not flashy, be humble and a lot depends on the magistrate on the day.

Speak to a solicitor (you can get a free one if you want) about the accelrator sticking thing - you may make things worse by brining it up. It's the driver's responsibility to amke sure the car's in good working order I think.

If you were, then you're more in the sh1t.

I think they only 'do' you for the worst offence not add up all three though.

Why would they say that? were you?

You haven't got a driving licence or insurance have you? :headvswal I reckon disqualification as well!

Christ, if that's the case, bend over while they insert something up your ar5e.

i gave it to a member here. what did ou need. he was selling things off it recently

get a good solicitor and fight that the sumons is wrong, if they are saying that you have no insurance or licencse then all there evidence is wrong

fight the fact that the acceleraor was stuck and how can the police say that it wasnt if they cant even tell if you have insuance or not

just a thought might get you off the hook

are you breaking your car indian?

could work - there was a solicitor in the media recently, became famous for getting stars off of driving offences. very pricey and arrogant, but managed to win one case by asking if the pc in the dock was chewing gum. pc said no, but in fact was. because he lied about that, his evidence was thrown out.

obviously its pie in the sky stuff in relation to your case, but the principle is sound.

If any of the so-called evidence is blatantly wrong then any decent solicitor should get the case thrown out of court!

depends why - if documents have not been provided, for example, it's a reasonable assumption to continue under the assumption there are none!

indian - think you should go see a solicitor and get a qualified response instead of some quasi-legal advice on here!

definately! go pro! :p

Did you produce your documents to the cops in the 7 days allowed? If not then you will be done for failing to produce, ie no insurance, no driving license etc... Standard procedure that one.

The throttle can stick on these cars, caused by increased boost blowing the PCV pipe out of the rocker cover and jamming the throttle open. 2 problems with this tho:-

1) Increased boost would require informing your insurance - no inform, no insurance ;)

2) You'd have to have been booting it in the first place to get the pipe to come out - on one of these cars you'd be over 70mph by the time it came out...

"Brace yourself, they're comin in dry....."

tbh m8 if you were driving without a licence and insurance i hope they ban u for life

im sure thats not the case though as i wouldnt expect any1 to be that stupid :)

good luck anyway

turn up fella with all relative documents as if you dont they will adjurn as no licence etc carrys an over the wall sentence usually take your docs and a good brief as someone else asked did you produce at a police station good luck fella
