I know the evenings are getting longer and the nights are getting shorter but I think we should all take time to remember the inventor of one of the things which might just save our lives sometime.

The Cat's Eyes (showing the road ahead in darkness) we know and love http://www.bbc.co.uk/nottingham/spotlight/science_week/fun_facts.shtml

were invented by a Nottingham man.

Just as well. If the kitty had been facing the other way, he would have invented the pencil sharpener! biggrin.gif
