alternator

is the alternator the same in all models?

 

specifically will my auto NA import 1995 alternator fit and work properly in my manual tt uk 1990 car?

    it fits, but wouldn't recommend it

     

    NA alternators have a much lower amperage

    TT ampage = 90

     

    it would work fine, but if you have a large sound systym it would put a larger drain on the smaller ampage of the NA

     

    better of finding a TT variant :cool:
