Furthermore, comments from the female members aside, they must have been doing something right as the divorce rate was way way lower then.

 

Society had not reached rock bottom and children had respect for their elders and other people's property. Family life was "normal" IE children had both a mother and father; not a single mother sponging off us poor tax payers, or even worse - two mothers or two fathers in a gay marriage.......
