I have planes for changing the original cooler on my Zed to a larger one, to achieve lower oil temp while driving on hot days and track...

Is there any problems of mounting a too big cooler?

My goal for the next summer is 550hp, and therefore a bigger cooler...

Kind regards

Kenneth

You need to regulate the flow with a thermostat so that the oil returning isn't too cool when it returns to your engine or you'll loose viscosity.

Mocal do them for about £35.

I'm selling a 235mm X 25 row Mocal cooler + Moca Thermostatic Flow valve with all the Mocal braided hoses and Airodeck anodized collors. I've gone for something with a bigger bore and remote filter and take off plates.

This kit is just bolt on and go + moding cooler brackets. Cost me about £200 in total but selling for £135. Its all as new

Hmmm,that sounds interesting....

I will come back to you about the cooler....

Have you tried your car on the track with this cooler?

Not since I had the car rebuilt with the bigger turbos. It is because of the new turbos and the extra boost I am running is generating much more heat into the oil so I have had to look at a different setup.

Worked for track days with Stage 1 hybrids and 16psi the system worked great. Then when I had engine rebuild and new turbo's I notice damage on original 25 row cooler so I replaced it then found out 2 weeks later that I needed a new set up
