hi guys please help i've had my ttz back from brookside garage today having new turbo's fitted from turbo technics. it has taken them 4 weeks to sort it out!!! when i collected the car today just after the mechanic test drove it, what a load of shit!!! 1: boost gauge not working

2: stereo no working

3: hicas lights come on 4 bout 10min

4: the turbo's make a really loud squeeling noise very very loud, so i took the car back to the garage and the mechanic came with me 4 a ride and get this!!! he heard the sound said it was ok and said u need more sound deadning what an fiiinnnng plonker im really worried bout this screaming noise can someone help me please!!!!

 

nononono this is simply not good enough from anyone let alone a mandela. Complain. In writing. Now.

1,2 and 3 can be fixed fairly easily but F*** number 4 for a game a tiddlywinks !

I'd say someone has dropped a $major$ bollock - if the HICAS light comes on then goes off its probably short of fluid but Id take it back and tell the tosspots to sort it.

oh! shoot i thought turbo tech had a good name thats why i decided on there stage 1 turbos!! £1400 hope ive not been ripped off senna what do u reckon on the boost gauge not working??? have checked the connections into the black box on the off side by the bulk head seams ok no vacum coming through??? as for the stereo its a kenwood mask system i locked it by turning it over b4 taking it 2 the garage and when it came back it only turned halfway and enter code displayed but when entering code nothing happend now there is nothing at all and its still stuck half way, with the hicas would fitting a set of 18' alloys affect it??? incidently the exhaust is leaking and they have changed my battrey with a shitty one!!!

When I helped do Raz's stereo, if I remember correctly it done the half way out thing, but I'm sure it was because the battery was disconnected, e-mail Bob (safe & sound in contacts). I would definetly be going back and demanding for the correct battery, 6 months down the line (a cold winters day) when it doesn't want to turn over, they won't want to know. 18" wheels wouldn't affect the hicas at all. Could the leak from the exhaust happened when they took the engine out? where abouts is it leaking?

Yeah take the car back to whoever did the turbo job now and say the turbo were balanced by a fucking muppet who should have his hands cut off and be banned from looking at cars ever again !

 

You car is in great danger of seizing that turbo or thorwing the shaft out ! which you dont want happening.

 

Take it back now - Call your lawyers and let them talk to the ideot that suggested sound deadening material ! !

I was only saying to Mac1 yesterday that they were replacing your turbos with the engine IN the car! That is a mega NO NO!!!

 

SE-Nissan have learnt over the years that major problems can sprout from doing turbos with the lump in the car.

 

I fucking knew this would happen. Do you want me to accompany you to kick their arses armed with three slobbering Rotties over the weekend?

Normally they will only fit pukka Nissan parts (at extortionate cost!)

I have a Kenwood D-Mask as well but be-damned if I ever leave it with anyone in situ.

 

Mine was flashing Enter Code as well after the windscreen was repaired. Not that that has anything to do with it - my battery was on the way out. They've probably taken your battery off at some point. Mine wouldn't turn completely and wouldn't release until I turned off the ignition.

 

The way I fixed it was to turn on the ignition, enter the first code with the Master Key, enter the second code, it turned itself on and has been fine ever since.

thanks fellas rnt they just a load of wankers when i picked up the car the mechanic handed over what he called a dump valve and said there were new ones with the turbo kit!!!! get this guys what he actually had in his hand was a friginnn actuaror, anyway car going back on monday 2 be sorted then if no luck its head office accompanied with timmi turbo with his rottwilers and a sheet of sound deadning to cover his screaming!!!!!!!
