ok so ive now located the oil sender but it dosent look aftermarket!!! has anyone else got these gauges in there car and experienced any problems? ive followed the connections to the sender and they look good (connected) maybee dodgy sender or gauge anyone else got them and can help????? sorry for the sender piccy quality but i was squished in!!!

its possible the gauge or sender isnt working, change the sender they arnt expensive, or re wire the gauge it could be broken wire somewhere, sender is obvious first choice

what about the stock gauge in the dash, is that still connected and working too? If it isnt connected see if you can find the wires for that, re connect it and see if stock gauge shows any pressure, if it does your sender is working and it will be your gauge

yeah my stock gauge is working but i thought the sender for that was somewhere else!! ill have to jack it up and have a proper look its starting to do my head in now might just buy a whole new set it just seems a shame when ive already got one.

cheers tho mate.

if the stock sender is workin, then that might be the one thats wired up? unplug the wires on the senser and see if stock gauge stops workin. Then attatch wires of the gauge on to the sender if it works thats your problem gauge not wired up. It can be difficult knowing what someone else has done to a car when you buy it with mods
