When dump valves release pressure, should they open and close immediately, or do they open and release and slowly close? Also, while watching them (blitz on hard pipes) when they released pressure, they would close and then slighty move again when the revs hit 1000, is this right?

Thanks

probably should open and close quickly. Also they should be closed firmly at idle , if not the spring is too weak. If they are slightly open at idle they will let in unmetered air, which will cause a bad idle and hesitation.

Thanks Clarkey, reason im asking is because I have a problem with the car stalling, if I press clutch to slow down, it just stalls. If I keep the revs around 1k-2k it doesnt stall.

Thanks

Yep thats the DVs. Undo the locknut and screw in the adjuster (allen key). I had to run mine almost fully wound in to stop the problem. Make sure you blank off the stock recircs tho cos if you don't they'll take priority over the BOVs and they'll hardly work ;)

Thanks Andy, they were fully wound in, Ive wound them out a little to see if it helped, but not tried car since. Will have a play when it dries up.

Thanks
