followed this to put pic on my signiture

 

Size it first, then upload it to your rides section, open it from rides, right click on it and choose properties. Then highlight the Address info eg: http://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/smilies/banana.gif and right click and copy. Go to edit your sig, type after the link

 

Save the sig and it should now work

 

but all im getting is a small box with a red cross in it, what am i doing wrong, heeeeeeeeeelp it doin my head in

You need to copy EXACTLY from the Properties of the photo or COPY/PASTE the link above.

 

The forum software abbreviates the fookin link so I can't type it for you! :rant:

Looks like you're still using the truncated version, i.e. the one that has the ... in the middle instead of part of the link.

It should be like this, which is too big in my opinion, but that's just me. ;)

Use Copy Shortcut on the link above or type htp://www.300zx.co.uk/forums/vbgarage.php?do=getimage&id=4402 with the extra "t".

Just out of interest, why is it that when you change your sig it applies it to all your old messages? Surely once you post a message, including sig, it should stay like that. :confused:

A thread just uses a link to your sig., not the sig itself.
