where would you buy one from and are they worth replacing as im doing an engine change. also anyone have an idea of the price of one?

Have a word with chunk he has a complete harness for sale, and yes its well worth doing, co's so many probs are due to faulty connections and broken cables...Do it if your engine is out and you can afford it.

Deffo worth doing, be prepared to strip half the dash down though. Glove box out, ecu's and mounting frame, fan and air con unit from airbox assembly dropped down then reach behind to the cover plate. 2 10mm nuts and it comes off. Then its a piece of p155 ;)

the main culprits are the injector&coil pack connectors, if you don't fancy doing the whole loom from the ecu, replacing the above normally makes a vast improvment

 

although due to the heat most plugs after 15years are brittle&need replacing, injectors and coilpacks area good start, and checking for any breaks in the circuit
