i have found that my coolant is leaking, and whne i checked how much was in the reservior, i found out it was empty, so i poured about a gallon in there, and when i finished i realized that its been leaking right through one of the hoses, for the past two days or so after driving the car for about an hour, there has been alot of smoke coming out form under the engine close to where the battery is placed, but its been coming form under the engine it looks as if it was oil being burned or if it was coming form turbos an dit was smoking pretty badly i took a pic of it if it helps, does anyone have anyidea what this could be? or mean? could it be the turbo? would i need a ne wone or is this all caused by the coolant, or maybe the oil?

help is greatly appreciated

It's hard to tell what's going on from that crap pic ;)

Can you tell me whether it is steam or smoke? Can you hear any hissing? Like I said, very hard to tell from that pic, but check that your heater hoses aren’t leaking. They are located at the back of the engine, & run off the block to the firewall.

i will take a nother pic of the engine bay with this steam/smoke , there is no hissing but it might be some i odnt think steam would be this visible? but that stuff doesnt have a strong smell, so its hard to tell. Could you tell em what the heater hoses for?

Is it white, if yes it's coolant? Why don't you pop the bonnet & track down where it is coming from? The heater hoses are to pass coolant from you engine to your heater core (behind dash).

but that stuff doesnt have a strong smell

What? Are you saying there is a strong smell, & that coolant doesn't smell? I don't follow at all. Just for the record, coolant has a very strong smell.

Good luck with it all.

when i drive the car it sdoesnt smoke, when i stop the car, the smoke comes out form under the hood behind the engine, and come out through the dash on the passanger side, and yea it does have a strong smell, so you are saying its most likely coolant, an di have to replace the piping?

I would stop driving the car mate, it may cause the head gasket to go and you dont want that to happen :nono: very expensive.

i decided to get to the bottom of it and i foudn out a small tube was leaking and it was leakign on a hto metal part causing the coolant to evaporate and therefore slemmy steam, i replaced the tube and no more problem, this is how ti looks
