A little while ago the downpipe on my MR2 went bye bye, tracking down a breaker that had the part proved to be a pain in the ass. So I went out and bought a Zed (as you do).
I've finally managed to pin a downpipe down. It'll cost about £90 for the part, and I can fit it myself. Now the question is should I sell the MR2 or keep it? It uses a **** load less fuel than the Zed, and has better handling imo (although I am sure with some work the Zed can be brought up to scratch). But its an NA and after driving the Zed it seems a little pointless.
I am toying with the idea of turning it into a track day car, single turbo conversion, NOS, improved air intake, big **** off brakes. But then again I could sell it and put the money into my new toy (the Zed of course).
Thoughts?
(I also have an iddy biddy Citroen Ax to run PA kit around in, but I may give that to my sister if she ever gets round to passing her test!)
