alternator

is it possible to change the diode pack with out removing the alternator?

 

if not , how dificult is it to remove the alternator?

 

and does anyone have a photo showing where they are in the car?

    Should imagine its easier to remove the alternator, its on the drivers side, fairly simple task just awkward due to laying on your back .
