Few probs that need sorting

Right, think i am resolving the brakes problem so i only have to sort the problems of;

No c/l working on passenger side?

Speedo only works every now and then or flickers about?

Any help to solve these probs would be great.

ne 1?

my speedo only now and then, mines the speed sensor.

easy to get? Fix?

does the pass side lock manually? if so then check the solonoid that locks as it should lock/unlock in line with the drivers side one

I would check the plug from the sensor and the wiring in the dash before you replace it though. May just be a loose connection.

I have been told a new sensor is around £150, don't know if thats true as i hav'nt been into my nissan dealer to ask yet. More important things to do like the bloody head gasket.

It's very easy to change just one bolt and unplug the wire.

So should i take out the pod to get to the cable or under the bonnet?

Also the lock locks manually but not on the cl.

Thanks.

If the car is an import then it could be the converter playing up, a lot cheaper fix than the speed sensor.

If you look on page 7 maybe 8 now in this forum there's a thread called speed sensor location which has a pic of sensor location in it.

Don't know how to add a link or i would for you.

Converter??? where what how???

There is usually a converter behind the speedo to change from km to miles, it has been known for a few to play up, best way to check it is disconnect and see if you still have a problem.

Cheers dude i'll have ago at that tomorrow.

mines uk, ill look up on the sensor.
