out of interest i wondered what everyone thinks of gauges and how many and which ones you have

ive got some of these in a triple pillar pod. i think they do blue and red.

The vacuum is for when you want to make a clean get away.

Boost, water temp, oil temp, oil pressure, EGT, fuel pressure, wideband O2. Only 1 gauge on show though :)

you forgot to add volt gauges i will have 6 in mine monitoring the sound system

I have:

 

Oil temp, very important in my opinion. Lets you know when it's time to have fun

 

Boost, well obviously ;)

 

Exhaust temp: also quite important. Lets you know if your tubs are about to blow apart.

guages are ok but i hate it when you get in an otherwise nice car aprat from the inside looks like the guy has tried to recreate the cockpit of a boeing 747!!!

 

as with everything ok in moderation

a mild modified car only needs

oil press

 

the more gauges the more paranoid you become and you end up looking at 5 gauges rather than the road, thats a fact :p

I have these 3 Pro-Sport gauges fitted in an A-pillar pod

I don't like them, I'll stick to stock and my boost controller.
