To be honest - my brakes are really good - I have uprated disks and pads all round and they performed faultlessly all day.

 

My problem is my Mrs is a bit fragile and I promised I wouldn't throw her into the corners.

Ahhhhh.......fair enough.........i thought you may have had the shitty standard ones like i do.............i know how scary they can be at times when you wanna stop quickly and theres just no feel to them

 

You should have got her to get out and then gone after the TVR lol

Mate, I think you have one of the nicest looking zeds out there.... But it's not a work of art - its a car - and cars are for driving and enjoying. You can't exploit how good a zed is on the road - so either take it to a track or a strip... trust me - you will see that all your hard work and cash was worth it.

I really dont like my zed brakes they feel so vague. And they judder when i hard brake from more than 100mph. Might be cos my discs are a bit bent.

Its not that...........the car has just cost me so much.............im literally on the illness i call "ZX Paranoia" im always thinking that something is gonna go wrong or everytime i hear something i think theres another £100 i gotta spend............thank god its been absolutely brilliant so far and hasint played up except for my own stupidity but maybe when i have more money and i can be a little more risky with her i probably will defianetly take her on a track............but for the meanwhile all i can do is watch others and dream
