went 2 the gym and got my locker done

do you mean some one stole the keys from your locker whilst you were at the gym??? is it members only?? i'd be asking people on the front desk what they remember of the time it went mate? :(

That was lucky i had my first zed stollen from outside my house, was a jap import had all the body kit on it so was pretty destinctive, car was gone for about a week, then got a phone call from the police saying they found the car but its been involved in a traffic accident and can i come and get it. It was only around the corner from where i work oddley enough about 7 miles from my home. Car was a write off they had been doin about a ton down a side road and hit a car reversing off a drive and span that car so you can imagine what state mine was in, broke my heart. Had to leave car there untill nxt day and then the fookers had come back smashed a window and stole the stereo out of it, no cnt ever sees it do they? Broke my heart even more trying to get paid out on insurence, told em they are the crooks not the cnts who stole the car.

Glad to read you got it back with no damage does it feel the same knowing someone else been in it? And you been violated.

Sounded to me you been targeted if they knew what locker you had they been watching you i guess

yea i had a spare set of keys lucky me, nah the car feels different now and theres fag ash everywhere when i got her bac, but i wasnt targeted at the gym another women had her handbag stolen and they went 2 the wrong car and snapped the key off so they went bac and found mine lucky b*****ds. she did 10miles 2 a quarter of a tank LOL the gym has a security guard but he said he thought it was me who drove off in it!!!!!!!! and the security cameras showed nothin as they only on the front enterance they think they went in via a fire exit, its all 2 weird for my likin but i got her bac so its all good, thanks all

Glad you got it back mate!

As for the winter, what do you think 300bhp rear wheel drive is like in the snow......

don't bother! My old Mk3 Supra wouldn't move in 2 inches of snow - it just sat there wheel spinning  Hence I've not taken my ZX out in the snow; I bought a 4x4 2 years for trecking across the Chilterns when it snows.

Richard :)

PS, as I'm an old git I am part of the forum campaign to abolish TXT SPK on here........ :x:

I have something to say............ It's better to burn out than to fade away..... :tt2:

Yep, have it checked out in case it's been raged and don't use that gym again either. Glad you managed to recover it.

What difference does it make, i'm sure 90% of zeds are thrashed around every day, what difference is 10 miles going to make, thats less than 1 lap of the 'ring ;)

difference is that someone else has vialated his property and driven it/thrashed it. If you choose to do a 100 laps around the ring thrashing the arse off the car then thats your choice, when someone has stolen your car and you dont know how its been driven you do feel different its the thought of someone doing this to you and your property and not knowing, take it from me i know been there, or maybe im too emotional about my property

When we rag our Zeds we warm them up first and then cool them down again before simply switching off the engine while our poor turbo's are white hot. When your pride and joy has been stolen you have no idea if they'd treated the car with the same repect. Therefore if don't know if they've damaged the engine or not.

I can almost guarantee you that the fat cat that paid 35k for the car when it was new did not care about the heat in the turbo's nor anything else.

Well if he didn't the Zed wouldn't have last long LOL

Of course it isn't nice, but the point is that being thrashed for 10 miles, even if it wasn't warmed up or cooled down properly, isn't likely to cause any significant damage compared to what it's been through for the rest of its life!

I suppose Andy could get it checked out if it makes him feel better, but it seems like a waste of money to me.
