I find the best way to drain the petrol tank on my Z is to push my right foot down hard on the right pedal!!! LMAO............. :dance:

 

Seriously though - there might be a drain plug or if not, I don't think the fuel tanks are anti-syphon so you might be able to drain some off with a hose or tube?

Pull the fuel hose off the filter and let the pump do the work! :)

thanks guys is it the pipe towards the back of the engine bay or infront of the fuel filter

done it today thanks for the help guys. The pump didnt keep going though when i turned the key i could here the pump but it cut out. Brother had a pump that i connected and got it out that way, zeds going fine now :nana2:

the fuel pump needs a signal mate from the cas unit to work.as soon as the cas reads 1degree it latches the fuel relay.the pump will only go when the engine is cranked.all i do is plug a spare cas into the cars loom and turn the drive by hand.
