not bad day ,,,,got some good run's in before my GEARBOX gave up the ghost...no overdrive any more ,,,and some wierd nosies....but all said and done a good day ....

 

big thank's CHUNK and SKYLINE DAVE.....top day boy's (ok track could of been a bit longer) but that's life ....

We had a great day , the missus drove a 44 tonne arctic and fooking loved it.

Had a few trips around the circuit , one in a Skyline ( just for comparison purposes you know ) got to admit , these things stick to the road like brown stuff on a blanket !!!

The Dark Warrior took me for a blast , first manual tt i,ve been in :bow: :bow: nice one Ivan :duffer:

Mickyb took my nephew around , came back with the biggest grin :bow: cheers bud

Finally got mine on the track and before anybody else tells ya

Great meeting you fellas. Totaly enjoyable day out. 20 laps, a refil of gas and a lot a smiley faces.

 

Oh I made my missus scream, then I had to take her for another lap as the 1st was a slow one for her and I floored it. Turned the S into my very own strait, got told of for drifting (lol as if I know how, was holding on for dear life)

 

I have photografic proof that my cars quicker than a TVR, a Scooby and a Lotus Exige.

 

I am now also very aware that mines missfiring like a bugger.

 

All in all a top day. cant wait to see teh vids of me laps

It would have been on video , but my missus was too busy screaming and flailing her arms around :headvswal Can,t understand why :D :D

lol, glad everyone had a good time in the end [when the organisers seemed to get their act together a bit more]. great to meet some more members - Deve8uk, Steve007, Wozzer, DCarey. i'll have fond memories of chasing down an Esprit, Chunk taking bends sideways-on, my coilpack popping out [twice] ... and i got to sit in and rev the 600ZX!!! :bow: :bow:

Took the car for a couple of laps,passed Boldy on the grass! :x: ( :xxx: )

was chuffed how she handled to say I'm running 225's all round and stock suspension! :eek: -did manage to turn the power steering belt upside-down tho'!! :confused:

Now I deffo want to keep it! :(

Yeh was a good day, got my wife to go round in that yellow porka turbo and she loved it :) and my son had a few goes in that little blue kit car type thing and bloody hell that thing was stupid fast!! 0-100 in just under 6 seconds :eek:

Would of liked to of been there today, but just wasn't able to. Hope you all enjoyed it.

An interesting day indeed. I have never driven on a track before in all my 40 years of driving, so it took me most of the morning to find out what to do! A big thanks to the Dark Warrior for riding shotgun with me and pointing out the way.

i settled into it better after lunch and was pleased by the comments from Skyline Dave, Manta V8 and MickyB who all came round with me. 120mph was Ok considering we only got half the main strait to use.

Organization was not good and was verging on the chaotic mid morning. Also disapointing I thought was the small numbers of public up for a ride in the selection of 300s available.

Adds another dimension to my motoring portfolio to go with drag racing, Special stage rallying, grasstrack racing and one short oval hot rod meet.

As usual ... good to meet up with fellow MidlandZ memberZ and a few southerners too!!!

Great day in the end, shame the organisers of the event had no idea, but still turned out to be a good afternoon.

 

Great to see Mickey overtake everything on track with his flying machine, Slick Pete, Madhammster, Wozzer, Dark Warrior, SkylineDave, Deve8UK, Stevie007, MantaV8 and Boldy (You spin me right round baby right round) belting around the track and great to see Peach cleaning cars as per, Kirbz and family and DCarey at the event aswell.

 

Had a good few laps in the NA, Overtook a R34GTR (wasnt really trying), Lots of Lotus's, Porka boxsters, 911 carrera and a Ferrari! I sure am gonna miss the NA when shes gone. :(

 

Well done to all that took people out for charity, i hope we made a few quid for the kiddys! :D
