Hi, im turning 17 soon and the nissan 300zx is my most favourite car in the world and i was wondering if anyone knew how much it would cost to get insurance for a 17 year old? i no it will be expensive but i just want to no, cheers everyone.

you're best of phoning the insurance companies as one 17yr olds quote will be differenct to another 17yr olds.

It will probably be a small fortune. If you get a UK car instead of an import then the insurance will be lower.

 

Alternatively go for an N/A

More than you can prob afford if any companies will insure you, tried for a laugh putting my little sister on when she first passed at the age of 18, no one would insure her, alot of ppl here who have many year on you and been driving for 10 years still pay about £4-600, why not get something smaller to build up your driving experiance and no claimes discount, it's always something to look to, iknow there are some younger members her, who have managed to get a good deal, but they are still 20+

Plus I wouldn't have a 300/220BHP RWD car as your first car. Probably would be better to build up a little driving experience first mate

Try some free online insurnace quotes out. Although I suspect nearly all will refuse and those that do agree will ask for a lot more than the cost of the car.

You have no chance, unless you have about 10k in the bank. I would get a little shitter to run around in for a year or so, then something else, then a 300.

 

I am 23 now and have only just managed to get a reasonable insurance quote.

 

To be honest you would kill yourself in it too. I had one when I was 19 for a day or so, and apart from the insurance being 3k I was unable to control it.

 

Look for something else, and come back in 5 years.
