How much does a insurance approximately runs annually for a 300ZX? that is third party basic insurance not full.. what would be the cheapest rate I could get and with who??

also could anyone tell me what is normally the price for I´ll have to pay on road tax annually for the 300ZX??

As for the insurance just a hint;

I am actually 38yo and never had a single wreck accident in my years of driving. so I suppose those count as bonuses...I think..

would appreciate this info please.

THank you so much as always!!! ;) ;) ;)

You will struggle to get anyone to insure it third party mate, but at your age I wouldn't think the insurance would be to heavy anyway.

You can look up the tax on the DVLA website but from memory it is approx £94 for 6 months and £175 for 12.

You should be able to get 3rd party fire and theft quotes as I have. Try Adrian Flux and tell them you are a member of this site.

I'd expect Fully comp insurance to be around £300-£400 a year. No point insuring as TPFT as it would be hardly any cheaper.

(Im 27 with 5yrs NCB and pay £550 a year Fully comp)

I'm the same age as you with full no claims, TPFF costs me £320 a year and that’s from

A-plan. It helped that I had one of these cars before. I’ve just taxed my car £97 for half a year. Hope this helps m8.

Sharp insurance services in newbury

Oh thank you so much to everyone!! really appreciated!! ;)

I'm 36 and on a classic policy (6000 miles pa) with Carole Nash I pay around £260-270 FC, can't quite remember exactly........

When I ran it as a daily driver 2 years ago I still paid £400 FC with full NCB on a regular policy (with Bell Direct)

Assuming you're after info because you're looking to buy a Z then you will find your choice of insurance companies quite limited if the car has lots of modifications. I had this issue a couple of months ago, each time I mentioned the boost controller and aftermarket chip I met a pause followed by "sorry we can't cover you" and that included many of the brokers people reccomend on here.

I'm 43 with lots of no claims in a low risk area, it's a second car and ended up paying over £500 with Sky Insurance (not part of Sky btw) and I must have rung 10 or more places.

Having said all that, it's worth every penny.

I am 32 and I pay 234.00 a year fully comp and I get free cover in europe and free breakdown cover for europe too!

I wish my insurance was as little as you lot lol.

£900 P.A fully comp with SP30 & DR10 convictions with 3 years no claims. A small price to pay for driving a zed i guess, that is when it's going.

The biggest mistake of my life was having a heavy friday night and getting nicked at dinner time the next day after dropping my m8 at the pub, only just over the limit. :( at least 1 good thing came out of it, i hav'nt had a drink since.

Oh well 1 more year and it will be 5 years ago so i won't have to declare it to the insurance company.

Oh and i'm 35 lol so think yourselves lucky.

Maybe not mate, but a DR offence stays on your licence for 10 years......

DR10 stays on for 10 years but insurance companys only want to know about convictions in the last 5 years.

Just insured my 'new' Zed today:-

Endsleigh (via Confused) - £1032 (somebody must be confused!)

Ensign (via Sky Insur.) - £496

Ensign (via Adrain Flux) - £478

Group AMA (via A-Plan) - £323

All for same cover - 1995 Jap import N/A Manual - Tein Flex Coilovers & Non-standard high rear spoiler - £300 excess - 5k miles - protected NCB - Cat 1 fitted.

I still have 3 or 4 companies coming back to me but, needless to say I went to Endsleigh (I'm only kidding) but it shows it certainly pays to shop around.
